Loving companion of 28 years of Eva F. Perkins; father of Teresa Reed (David); stepfather of Steven Perkins (Marion); son of the late Rosa Mae and Herman Joseph Robichaux, Sr.; brother of Viola Gaudet; Joceline Boudreaux ; and Herman Joseph Robichaux, Jr.; grandfather of Taylor Reed, Dylan Reed, Tammy Gisclair (Shane), Steven Perkins, Jr., Jimmy Perkins (Gina), Tiffany Tucker (Shawn), Misty Tabor, Brittany Gisclair, and Blaine Gisclair.
Mr. Robichaux proudly served in the United States Army , was a past Fire Chief of the Avondale Fire Department, was a member of the Cajun Association-CFMA, and was a member of the American Legion Post of Lafitte, La., and was a passionate cook.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Nativity Church Cemetery, 3500 Hwy. 1, in Raceland, Louisiana. Arrangements are under the direction of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La, 504-341-9421.
