Melissa Marie Daquin

Melissa was the devoted spouse of Gary T. Daquin Sr. and a proud, loving mother to Gary Daquin Jr. (Kathryn), Joseph Daquin (Elizabeth), and Blaze Daquin Sr. (Taylor). Her greatest joy in life was her role as “Mawmaw” to her cherished grandchildren: Bradley Daquin, Kinsleigh Daquin, Bentley Daquin, Esperanza Daquin, Blaze Daquin Jr., and Cruz Daquin, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her loving parents, Barbara and Tommy Hall, as well as numerous family members and friends who were blessed to know her.

Melissa loved her family beyond measure. She found happiness in the simple things—being outdoors, taking road trips, caring for animals, cooking meals that brought everyone together, and spending meaningful time with the people she loved most. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be remembered always.

A Memorial Service honoring Melissa’s life will be held from 10:00AM - 2:00PM on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

Melissa’s love and legacy will continue to live on through her family forever.
