Mildred “Millie” Jeanette Lanier entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, August 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85. Devoted wife of the late August Lanier of 65 years. A loving mother of Gary Lanier (companion Sandra Hoffman) and Jamie Lanier (the late Lisa). A proud grandmother of Lance Lanier, Kevin Lanier, Lindsey Lanier Saluppo (Nic), Jarin Lanier and a great grandmother of Kyler Lanier.
Daughter of the late Ruby Harnage Coker and Paul Coker and sister of Dorothy Walker, Robert Coker (Donna) and the late Raymond Coker. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
“Millie” enjoyed cooking, cleaning her home, traveling, camping, fishing but mostly spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at First Baptist Church, 921 Paul Maillard Rd. Luling, LA on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 am with visitation at 9:00 am.
