Mohan, Kishore, Robert Ramrattan Matabeek,of New Orleans, L.A., Bronx, N.Y., and Trinidad and Tobago passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the age of 68. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. It will be attended by immediate family and invited friends only. Predeceased by his mother Doolarie Baboolal Matabeek, father Ramrattan Matabeek, brother, Boysie Ramrattan, sister Jan Bahadur and his son Kishore Matabeek. Mohan is survived by his devoted life partner Nancy M. Ryan, his sons Mohan Ramrattan Matabeek, Jr., Robert Ramrattan Matabeek, Frank A. Barreto, Amanda Rae Dawson, and Kelly Lynn Dawson. Mohan is lovingly remembered by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is a U.S. veteran and was awarded two (2) National Defense Service Metals and an Army Service Ribbon in his time of Military service.
