Morris Steven Arcement

Morris Steven Arcement gained his heavenly wings on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the age of 65. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 28, 1955 to the late Marcel "Tapean" and Eunice Hebert Arcement. Loving husband of Tina Clement Arcement. Loving and encouraging father of Jonathan (Kimberly), Steven (Rayel) and Amberlyn (Zachary). Caring grandfather to Kailey, Angel, Madison, Isabella, Raine, Hunter and Michael. Brother of Michael (Becky), Marcia (the late Tim), Mary (David) and the late Marcel Jr. "Dinky". Brother in law of Yvette (Mark) and Nathaniel (Stacy). Awesome uncle to Salvador, Raymond (Dawn), Shelena, Aaron, Michael, Brad, Linsie, Carolyn, Charlotte, Casey, Christa, and Nathaniel. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Morris proudly served in the United States Marine Corp for 12 years during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #7350 and the Patriot Guard Riders and was the owner of The Tribute Camaro which honored past veterans and fallen heroes. Morris retired from Lafitte Barataria Crown-Point Fire Department after 20 years of service.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the Lafitte Barataria Crown-Point Fire Department, Lafitte Police Officer, Jason Loerwald and to Larry Rome, Jr. for putting Morris' name on the Tribute Camaro.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on December 18, 2021 at the Lafitte Barataria Crown Point Fire Department Station #40 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Committal service will be held on December 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located at 34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell.
