Nancy “Sue Boo” Simoneaux, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Age 50 years and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA.
Devoted mother of Brandon Buttrey, and Johnathan Buttrey.
Daughter of the late Ira Simoneaux, Jr. and Cynthia Belsome Simoneaux.
Sister of Ira Simoneaux, III, and Michael Simoneaux.
Also Survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Nancy left an impression on people, fortunate enough to know her. She showed us that a meaningful life isn’t measured by material things. It is measured by the people you love, the people who love them, the lives you touch, the respect you earn and the memories you leave behind. Above all, Nancy loved her boys, Brandon and Johnny more than life itself. They were her heart, her pride, and her greatest treasures.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at the Chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon until Service time.
Interment will be private.
