

Nathan John "Nate John" LeBlanc passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 55. He was born on November 25, 1967 to the late Richard and Lydia "Lee" LeBlanc. Loving father of Holly Ehret (Jonathan), Heather Gros (Lincoln), Eric LeBlanc (Heather), Nichole Davis (Glenn) and Callie LeBlanc (Marshall). Proud grandfather of Riley, Carter, Sadie, Lindan, Noah and Westin. Brother of Sandy LeGlue (the late Terry), Mark LeBlanc (Chantelle) Donna Orr (Tracey), Kenny LeBlanc (Margaret), Anne Breaux (Randy), Paula LeBeau (the late Gayle) and the late Ricky LeBlanc. Nate John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, godchildren and dear friends.
Nathan was a devoted father and loved to be around his family. He was a proud father and grandfather and anyone he came in contact with knew it. He will always be remembered as a social butterfly and never met a stranger. His favorite past time was cooking, especially his mother's old recipes, and loved to share it with everyone. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years where he studied and graduated from Fire Truck Refueler and Mechanic Military Technical School, retired from the Union Pacific railroad after 10 years, and worked for MWR for 7 years where he met great friends that he considered family. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Committal service will begin at 12:45PM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery, 531 Ave A in Westwego.
