Nelda Jean Busby

Nelda Jean “Terry” Busby joined her family in Heaven on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the age of 59 with her family by her side. She was the beloved mother of James Morton, Sr. (Mary) and Tausha King, loving grandmother of Victoria LeBlanc, James Morton, Jr., Jamie Lynn Marie Morton, David John Paul Morton, Hailey Jean Morton, Kaylee Nell Morton, Elizabeth Johnson (Jerry), Benjamin King (Laycee), Naomi King, Faith King, Sarah King and Amy King as well as the devoted great-grandmother of Braxton King. She was taken care of by a very special niece, Melanie Stevens for the last several years. She was the daughter of the late James Busby and Martha Monk Busby and the sister of Debbie Kelsey, Janet Rayborn, Jimmy Busby, the late Jerry Busby, Gary Busby, Donnie Busby and Betty Flanagan. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel of the funeral home.
