Patricia “Lulu” Plaisance passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 with family by her side. She was the beloved mother of Nolan Hymel, Sr., Patricia Marie and the late Gwendolyn Hymel and the mother-in-law of Christine Hymel. She was the loving grandmother of Ashley, Nina and Nolan Hymel, Jr., David Bourgeois, III, and Havin, Siara, Shilo and Skyler Mazarac and the great-grandmother of Clayton Stewart, Jr. She was the daughter of the late Nolan and Eola Plaisance as well as the sister of Terry Plaisance and the late Rosie and Perry Plaisance. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2011 beginning at 5:00 PM and lasting until 10:00 PM. Burial will be private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
