Raymond Joseph “Doc” Camardelle Sr passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 8:30 in the morning at the age of 76. He was a native and lifelong resident of Westwego. He was a loving father and father-in-law to Dorothy Elliott (Steve), Debbie Mockridge (Gordy), Tammy Hair (Dean), Raymond (Moose) Camardelle Jr. (Dawn), Bambi Carpenter (Lembo), and Lisa LeNormand, 6 step-children, Joy, Keith, RobRoy, Dorcille (DeDe) Terrebonne, Carolyn Reid, Henry Lawson. Also survived by 1 brother, 3 sisters, Lawrence (Cookie) Camardelle (Susan), Delores Comardelle, MaryAnn Comardelle, Linda Beasley (Wayne), 46 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents, Dorita and Elliott Camardelle, and Urice Comardelle, Jerry Camardelle, Clara Tew, 6 children , 1 grandchild, and 2 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Westside Leitz-Eagan, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:00 Noon.
