Plaisance (Julie) and the late Raymond E.“ R.J.” Plaisance (Cathy) and Deborah P. Hargis. Son of the late Sidney F. Plaisance and Armentine Matherne Plaisance. Brother of Leroy, Errance, and Lawrence “Yankee” Plaisance, Lorena Matherne, Mally Dominique, Carriedene Leblanc and the late Evans “Vin”, Clifford, Nolan, Melvin “Brod”, and Junior “T-Jun” Plaisance, Nita Ohmer Day, Pearl Boudreaux, and Cecile Arceneaux. Grandfather of Darrin and Dane Hargis, Chris, Katelyn and John Sherrill, Jr. and the late Jory Plaisance. Great grandfather of Dominick and Abbygail. Relatives and friend of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:00PM until 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning February 6, 2015 after 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
