Rebecca Ann Hart

She was the life partner of Randy Guidry; mother of Barry Keith Hart (Julie); grandmother of Justin Hart (Kadence) and Austin Hart (Ava); daughter of the late Robert William Hart and Jeanne Marie Israel Hart; sister of Robert Warren Hart, Norman Charles Hart (Gaby), and the late Ralph Cline Hart; aunt and Nana of Joshua Hart (Savannah); aunt of Collin Stolzenthaler, and Toni Gaudin (Doug); great aunt of Lorelai Hart, Phoebe Gaudin, Elaina Gaudin, Serenity Gaudin, and Scarlet Gaudin. She was anxiously anticipating the birth of her first great grandchild, Ivy Hart. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends, as well as her feline companions, especially her feline daughter, Sparkles.

She was outgoing and loved to travel, and she never met a stranger. She made a living as a bartender, which allowed her to meet a lot of interesting characters, some of which have become lifelong friends. She loved going out to dinner and a good margarita. When she could not be found, she was probably "chasing that baseball", following her grandsons as they played. She was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who was caring and generous, helping anyone she could.

A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna.
