Reed Vaughan Sr.

Reed Harry Vaughan Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Dolores Talamo Vaughan. He was the father of Myles David Vaughan, Damon Paul Vaughan, and the late Reed Harry Vaughan, Jr. He was the grandfather of Heather Delaney, Chrystian Breanna, and Reed Anthony, as well as great grandfather of Cylas, and Alexis Isabella. Godfather of Alyssa Abigail. He was the son of Admiral and Clara Vaughan, and brother of Admiral Vaughan, and the late Alberta McManus. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a member of American Federation of Musicians Local 174-496, and a nationally renowned percussionist.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Thursday, January 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 4, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and continue on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the funeral time. Interment will be in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery #3.
