Rickey Lynn Polkey passed on June 28, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on March 16, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Rickey was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana. He was born to the late Louise Nation Polkey and Lee Leonce Polkey. He was the brother of Linda Polkey Rivero (Alton), Maggie Thompson Clement (the late Gerald), the late Jessie Lee Polkey, Jr., the late Homer Dale Polkey, the late Richard Polkey, the late Arthur Polkey, the late Lee Polkey, Jr., and the late Emile Polkey. Rickey is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, Louisiana.
