Loving mother to Kristy F. Pecoul, John Fusilier II, and the late John Jeffery Fusilier. Loving, fun and constant wise cracking mother-in-law to Christopher Pecoul and Eugene Begley. Beloved grandmother to Angelina Fusilier, Jeffery Fusilier, Alana Aguilera, Connor Pecoul and the late Leila Ann Fusilier. Beloved sister to Albert Penn, Jr., Juliene Aucoin and the late Lounis "Lonnie" Penn.

Rita Ann Penn was born to the late Albert "Black" Penn Sr. and Eloise B. Penn in Jeanerette, Louisiana. She resided in Metairie, Louisiana. She loved to dance, cook, play games, and play cards with her family and friends. She was a spark of joy, bundle of energy, loved life, never met a stranger, and moved everyone she met to fall in love with her.

While God has called her home, her love endures, comforting every heart she touched.

The family would like to thank the medical team at Ochsner Medical Center on Jefferson Highway for the care and compassion that they showed while she was in their care.
