Rita M. Sanders was born on Feb 1, 1925 in New Orleans, LA and entered into eternal rest on Sun Sept 15, 2013 at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis “Ed” Sanders for 50 years and the loving mother of Ruth Ann Sanders Tassin (Husband E.J.) and Geraldine Sanders (friend Tommy). Devoted grandmother of Jay Tassin, Melissa Tassin Boudreaux, Megan Adams, and Erica Adams.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1 Rectory Lane, Hahnville, LA on Thurs Sept 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
