Robert Anthony Kersey Jr.

Robert “Rob” Anthony Kersey, Jr. entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, May 15, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 20 years to Cindy Landry Kersey. Loving son of Earline Melancon Kersey and the late Robert Anthony Kersey, Sr. and brother of Monica E. Kersey and Elvis J. Kersey. Godfather of Roger Bivalacqua, Nicole Meadows, Rebecca Orcutt, Howard Orcutt, Jr., Evan Landry, Aiden Orcutt and Christopher Bivalacqua. He is also survived by his fur babies; Cayenne, File’, Princess, Roscoe, Toby, Chichi, Sushi, Whip, Pixie and Tozi.

He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

“Rob” was an avid sports fan, snack food junkie, loved to chew straws, a crazy man when it came to Zombies, cooking for family and friends, jokester and had his faith in God.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 10:00 am until funeral time. In lieu of flowers, donations for assist with the expenses.
