Ronald Henry Koenig passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday evening, July 5, 2016. He was 65 years old. Beloved husband of Jill Henning Koenig for 46 years. Father of Rona Koenig Cristadoro (Kenneth) and Robin Koenig Curley (Kerry). Grandfather of Reese Cristadoro, Kendall Cristadoro, and Drake Curley. Son of Marie Thibodeax and the late Leonard Charles Koenig, Sr. Brother of Sally Rogers, Cheryl Leaber, and the late Leonard Charles Koenig, Jr. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ronnie was a native of Gretna, and a longtime resident of Waggaman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who are all invited to attend the the funeral service from WESTSIDE LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday evening, July 8, 2016 at 5:00.
