Ronald P. Mattison passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 23, 2013. He was the son of the late Andrew and Georgia Mattison. The beloved husband of JoAnn De Salvo Mattison and the loving father of Frank Mattison (Martha) and Ronnie Mattison. Devoted grandfather of Natalie and Jacob Mattison. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeffrey (Dixie), Brian (Mary “Cookie) and Steve Mattison (Patty).

Ronald retired from the Jefferson Parish School Board as a bus driver. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed by a service in the Chapel at 12 Noon. Condolences may be offered online at
