Ruby Collins Landry

Ruby Collins Landry of Lafitte, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the age of 80. Loving wife of the late Wilbert Landry, Sr. Mother of Trina Navarre (Carl) and Wilbert "Hop" Landry, Jr. (Jan). Grandmother of Shelly Navarre (Patrick), Carl Navarre, Jr., (Cori), Lanie Stanley (Jeffrey), Brittany Landry, Tiffany Rohrer (Austin), and Dylan Landry (Macie). Great Grandmother of Cain, Cruz, and Cali Navarre and Jaxon Stanley. She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mildred Collins. Sister of Jacqueline Comeaux (the late Ray), the late Lethia Erlinger (the late Gary), and the late Eddie Collins, Jr. (Sharon). Ruby is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruby's family would like to give a special "Thank You" to The Claiborne of McComb, Mississippi and St. Joseph's Carpenter House of River Ridge, Louisiana for their care and compassion during Ruby's time of need.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 28, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Ruby will be laid to rest following the Mass at St. Pius X Mausoleum in Crown Point, Louisiana.
