Gerald and Family,

I hope these past few weeks has not been to overwhelming.  Be encourage and take it one day at a time.  Keep the faith and know that your love one is just in a deep sleep, and know that you all will be reunited with her one day.  Have a bless and awesome day in the Lord.

Your mother was an angel and one of the best mothers I have ever known so kind all ways  had a smile on her prettyface stay strong and help one another.

   To the family of Sally, I'm so sorry for your loss. She left too soon. I have warm memories of Sally at her desk in the JPPSS personnel offices. When I was the Health Services Coordinator she was my "go to gal". No matter the situation she was so up beat as well as very efficient. I will remember her lovely countenance.

We are so sorry to hear about Sally. We were backyard neighbors with Mr  and Mrs Gros for 30 years. My daughter Jaime worked with her at JPPSS while she was in school in the DECCA program at WJ High School....we would see her time from time in church and in the backyard...God Bless

For the Vedros Family, my condolences.  To Miss Jenice who taught me to crochet when she & Mr Brian lived next door to me on 5th Street., my heartfelt sympathy on your loss.  Your sister is in Heaven with Miss Anna and your Dad.  My Grandmother Ledee Choquette, Aunt Vera Forsyth and others who have passed away will greet her with open arms.  Peace to you and yours.

Lori and family, I am sorry to hear that your Mother has passed away.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope that your Disney trip was an enjoyable and memorable one.

Sally was a kind, caring and loving person who would always smile and give you an encouraging word. I knew her from being in the personnel department of the JPPSS.Whenever I would go by her office and she heard my voice or saw me she would say Ms.Doublet it's good to see you and give me a hug and ask how are you doing.She was the same all the time regardless of the color of your skin.She was dedicated to her work.The last time I saw Sally was at her retirement party and she was still smiling.
She was a great lady and I was happy to have known her. May the depth of your faith and the love of those who share your loss comfort you at this time of sadness.

Dear Family Members of Sally,
What a wonderful person we all had in knowing Sally!! I worked with Sally in JPPSS for years.  She gave such good counsel in her work in the Personnel Dept.  Oftentimes I would trudge up to that department with a heavy heart and nervous stomach, and Sally would make everything right with her ready smile, tremendous intellect and dedication to doing what was "right".  She had a tremendous memory for details and always, always made you feel OK with making difficult decisions re personnel matters.  Sally had a rare gift for seeing the good in difficult situations, for consistently being "up" and positive in her approach, and for always reflecting the good person that she was. Sally was one of those people you always wanted to be around. You were always a better person for having spent time with her. She was truly a remarkable person!

My heart goes out to you all in your loss, for I know you will miss this wonderful person soooo much.As much good as she brought to her professional life, I know she was even that much more wonderful to you, as her family. She has left a legacy in you all to continue to share the goodness that she gave the world during her lifetime.

Sadly, I will not be able to express these words of admiration with you in person on Monday due to previously scheduled surgery. However, know that if I were with you all, I would give each of you a firm handshake or even a hug as I shared with you my admiration and respect for Sally Vedros. She was way up there on a pedestal - a one of a kind type person. Your loss is shared with so many people. Take care and please give Sally a special "good by" from me.  Elise Diament
