Sharon Naquin Barrilleaux

Sharon Naquin Barrilleaux, age 75, of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Sharon was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Henry E. Naquin and Lois Alleman Naquin. She was married to Mark J. Barrilleaux for 56 loving years. Devoted mother of her three children Michael E. Barrilleaux (Deanna), Shawn J. Barrilleaux (Kim), and Aimee M. Bosso (Chad). Proud MeMaw of Sarah B. Copeland (Marshall), Skylar M. Barrilleaux, Kaitlynn A. Barrilleaux, and Kaleb A. Barrilleaux. Great grandmother of Cory A. Copeland and Rowan H. Copeland. Sister of Debi M. Naquin and the late Craig A. Naquin. Godmother of Kenny P. Perrier and William L. Thompson. Sharon is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

Sharon was an advocate for the arts, she enjoyed music, painting, and crafting. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved family and friends, camping and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she gained many friends. Sharon also loved hosting many events that included the "Red Hatters". Above all, Sharon was proud of her children and their spouses for the people they have become. She will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 5th, 2025 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 8:30AM and continue until the Mass time. Sharon will be laid to rest following the Mass at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
