Shelley Dufrene Chiasson

Shelley Chiasson at the age of 66, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 6:30AM. Shelley is survived by her three children, Joshua Chiasson, Jennifer Chiasson, & Jadd Chiasson (Melissa). She has six grandchildren, Draven, Joshua J.R., Donovan (Frankie), Kaidence, Kaileigh, & Jace.

Shelley was the daughter of Rita Nell Matherne Dufrene and the late Luther J. Dufrene Sr. She was the beloved sister of Luther Dufrene Jr. (Altheia), Dewey Dufrene (Bonnie), Darlene Barraco, Darrell Dufrene (the late Tonnia), Val Dufrene (Jon Young) and the late Sarah Delgadillo (the late Bill Delgadillo). Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

She also had three grand fur babies whom she loved much, Paput, Godzilla, and Daisy.

Shelley was a nursing assistant graduate of Eastern College of Health and spent most of her life working in the home health care industry. She enjoyed music and listening to the Rolling Stones. Her biggest enjoyment and accomplishment was her grandkids.

Relatives and friends of Shelley are invited to attend a memorial service at Christian Fellowship Church, 5049 Ehret Road, Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday November 1, 2025 at 11:00AM for visitation. The celebration of life service will begin at 12:00PM.
