Shirley Ann Chauvin Albarado entered peacefully into heaven on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Clinton Joseph Albarado, Sr. of 36 years. Loving mother of Clinton J. Albarado, Jr. (Alice), Jimmy J. Albarado (Denise) and Anthony J. Albarado (Theresa). A proud grandmother of Andrew, Leonce, Alice, Kathy, Vince, Jennifer, Janel, Shelly, Milfred, Mindy, Chrissy, a great grandmother of 15 great children and one great great grandchild.

Daughter of the late Lydia Dufrene and Elmo Chauvin, Sr. Sister of Anna Gautreaux, Elmo Chauvin, Jr., John Chauvin and preceded in death by Leroy Chauvin, Sr., Lois Plaisance, and Victoria Savoie. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 83, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Westwego and Slidell, Louisiana. “Shirley Bird” enjoyed cooking for family events; she never met a stranger and loved family times. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, Louisiana on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 am.
