Mrs. Sidonia Marie Landry Pizani

Sidonia Marie Landry Pizani went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 10, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter A. Pizani, her parents, Cleveland J. Landry and Verina R. Landry. She is survived by her children, Armand (Lisa) Pizani, John J. Pizani, her daughter-in-law Patricia Pizani, her grandchildren, Ashley (Matthew) Shelton, Brooke Pizani, Cameron Pizani, and Erik Sorrell, her sister Verina R. Landry, her brother Malcolm Landry, her sisters-in-law, Muriel Perrin, Geraldine (Deanie) Victoriano, and Delores Lombas, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by Patricia Pizani. Mrs. Pizani worked for Mark Isaacs and Southern Shellfish as a bookkeeper/accountant. She was a devoted homemaker who always had a cup of coffee and a smile waiting for you. “To know her was to love her, and to love her was to know her.” Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday Morning, February 15, 2014 at 11:00. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00, and resuming Saturday at 9:00. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.
