Stuart Raymond Morrish

Stuart Raymond Morrish passed away on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at his home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi at the age of 40. Beloved companion of Danise Dequeant of 7 years. Stuart lived in New Orleans, Louisiana for 12 years and was born in Flint, Michigan to Susanna Morrish and adopted father Rick Morrish (Lyne'e). Loving father of Olivia Morrish and Jadyn Guercio, Step Father of Marissa (CJ) and Ashley Dequeant (AJ). Brother of Ricky and Christian Morrish and Step Brother of Aaron, Blake, and Bryan Kuzava. Paw Paw/ Parrain of Journey and Emercy Dequeant, Aleaha, Drew, and Ashton. Stuart is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many friends and other relatives who will miss him dearly, especially Michael and Nathan Stover, also Shane Chapman.

Stuart is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Stuart and Lucille Clark, and his paternal grandparents Richard and Annie Joe Morrish.

Stuart was an carpenter by trade, he moved to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina to help rebuild the city after the devastation. Stuart was an avid golfer who was a member of the Coonass Golf Club. Stuart was also a member of the Fun Riders Carnival Club. Every Mardi Gras Day, he rode in parades with the Krewe of Jefferson. He enjoyed long walks on the beach with Zeus, who was his best friend. His best quality time was spent making memories with his daughters Olivia and Jadyn. He enjoyed taking Journey to the beach. Stuart also traveled with his family several times a year.

A Catholic Memorial service in Stuart's honor will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/ Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana.
