Born on November 11, 1946, in Bridge City, Louisiana, Sylvia lived a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion. She was a resilient women whose warm heart, and generous spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Octave and Eunice Bye; her cherished son, Aaron Czop; her sisters, Alice Fanara(Salvador), and Edna Lefort(Rodney); and her brother, Ruben Bye(Delta).
She leaves behind her children, Terrance, Dawn, and Alan Czop (Kyle), along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
Sylvia had a passion for crafting, painting, and creating floral arrangements. She also loved dining out, and traveling, finding happiness in life's simple pleasures. She had a special gift for making those around her feel loved and valued.
Her kindness, generosity, compassion, resilience, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Though deeply missed, her love and memories will remain with her family and friends forever.
There will be a funeral mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Westwego, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. Sylvia's memory will inspire and comfort all who were blessed to know her.
