Terri Rae Gomez

Terri Rae Gomez, age 57, passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 22nd, 1964 to Larry Ray Walker Sr. and the late Mary Louise Waddel. Devoted mother of Chance James Gomez and the late Cody Ray Gomez. She is also preceded in death by the father of her children, Cary James Gomez. Sister of Beverly Avery (Mike), Jimmy Walker, and Larry Walker Jr. Terri is survived by many friends who she looked at as her own family. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Terri was a automobile service writer for many years. After those years, she began working as an accounting manager for a local tax service. Terri made an impact on the lives of all of the people she encountered on a daily basis. She easily made friends and wasn't afraid to be herself with honesty and tough-love. Terri was truly one of a kind. She will never be able to be replaced in the hearts of those who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 12:00PM and continue until 3:00PM when memories and stories about Terri will be shared.
