Terry Michael Pizani

Terry Michael Pizani passed away Monday evening, November 12, 2012. Beloved husband of Jane Caulfield Pizani. Father of Terry Pizani, Jr. (Bonnie), Terrill Pizani (Christian), and Teena Cheramie ( Wayne), and Coco. Grandfather of Craig Pizani, Kayla Hernandez, Karli Pizani, Terrill Pizani, Jr., Kasey Cheramie, Devin Cheramie, Lasey Cheramie, and Kaden Cheramie. Great-grandfather of Reagan Kirkley and Ily Hernandez. Brother of Betty Perrin and Opal Ruttley. Godfather of Cissy Couevas, Jody Caulfield, and Michael Belsome. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Pizani, Jr. and Hilda (Ida) Perkins Pizani, brothers, Lewin, Oscar, and Larry Pizani, and sister Marion Christen. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a native of Lafitte, and resident of Grand Isle. He served on the Boards of the Louisiana Shrimp Association, the Grand Isle Port Commission, and the Caminada Redfish Rodeo. He was a commercial fisherman. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday Afternoon, November 16, 2012 at 1:30. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in the morning. Interment will follow services in Saint Pius X Cemetery, Crown Point. A special thanks to Saint Joseph Hospice and their nurses.
