Thomas Eugene Adams Sr.

Thomas Eugene Adams Sr., age 94, of Harvey, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Thomas was born December 29, 1927 in Vacherie, Louisiana. Beloved husband of Aldonia Osborne Adams for over 52 years. Son of the late George Clifford Adams and Maria "Big Mama" Adams. Father of Madeline Adams Carter (Hilton), Loria Adams Miles, Raymond "Willie" Adams (Sandra), and Gail Bastain (the late Virgil) as well as the late Thomas Eugene Adams Jr. (Bernice), Lawrence Joseph Adams, John Christopher Adams (Jackie), Rosemary Adams, and Eva Lorraine Adams Lucas (Glenn). Brother of Mildred Daniel, Barbara Terry, and Russell Adams. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was a devoted father and husband. He was very active at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, including singing in the choir. He was a hard worker, employed over 70 years, and graduate of Delgado Community College. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. He will be remembered for his strength of character, which allowed him to pass on his incredible work ethic to his children through his strict but loving discipline.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
