Mr. Thomas Nenos Jr.

Thomas Nenos, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on Monday Morning, April 22, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Wauteen Slay Nenos for 37 years. Father of the late Thomas Nenos, III (Earline), the late Rhonda Reneé Nenos, Frances Nenos Dorn, Conchetta Todaro, and Kenneth Michael Cotton, Sr. Grandfather of Bridgette Ann Nenos, Frank Todaro (Shawn), Tena Todaro Robin (Glenn), Brandi Sullivan (Shannon), Kelly Todaro, Michael Joachim Cotton (Rose), Kenneth Michael Cotton, Jr., Colt B. Miller (Tiffany), Codie Hughes (Jeff), Meagan Dorn, and Tyler Dorn. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren. Brother of Frank Nenos and the late Joseph Nenos. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lillian Jacob Nenos. He was born in New Orleans and resident of the Westbank for 60 years, working as a Longshoreman at the Local 3000 post. He was a Veteran of World War II where he received the Purple Heart for his service. He was quite the character, and always could make others laugh. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday Morning, April 27, 2013 at 11:00. Visitation will be held on Friday Evening from 6:00 until 9:00, and resuming Saturday Morning at 9:00. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.
