Thomas “TJ” A Van Ness, Jr. entered peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He is survived by his devoted wife of 10 years, Christina Perdue Van Ness and a loving father of Taylor Jean Van Ness and Chloe Marie Van Ness. Son of Mary Sanchez Potter, step-son of Cecil Potter and the late Thomas A Van Ness, Sr. Brother of Shawn Marie Symington (James) and William “Buddy” Van Ness. Uncle of Jaison and Tristan Symington. He is also survived by numerous and loving relatives and friends who will miss him as well.
“TJ” worked in the oil industry for numerous years. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, and mostly spending time with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 7:00pm.
