Velma Marie Plaisance Gros of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born to the late Leon J. Plaisance and Maggie Orgeron Plaisance. Loving wife of the late Floyd Gros, Sr. for 38 years, and was preceded in death by her first husband Jerry J. Clulee. Loving mother of Barry Clulee, the late Warren Clulee (Lynn), John Clulee, Sr., Elaine C. Patterson (the late Tim), and stepchildren Floyd Gros, Jr., Dennis Gros (Mary Ann), the late Ray Gros (Beryl), and the late Kirk Gros (Sandra). Grandmother of 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Sister of the late Forest Plaisance, Raymond Plaisance, Warren Plaisance, Rita Plaisance, Winnie Mae Bouffanie, and Elsie Dufrene. Velma is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 10th, 2025 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
