Vincent was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. He is survived by his two sons Gabriel Adams and Joshua Adams. Parents were the late Vincent Adams, Sr. and Shirley Adams. Brother of Donna Fontenot ( ED ) and Joyce Champagne. He had two nephews, four nieces, and five grandchildren.
Vincent was a truck driver of eighteen wheelers, dump trucks, worked machinery, and did construction. He received his diploma of certification of Auto- Diesel Mechanic, he received many safety awards from Truckers Express for being accident and claims free and for being a professional driver. Vincent was also employed with Jimmy Billot. He cooked for the residents at Whynhoven Independent Apartments for Hurricane Katrina. Vincent was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need and would go to the store for several residents and always help however he could.
I would like to thank Father Ray Hymel from St. Gertrude Church for giving funeral mass and Mrs. Jennie Bellenger for always lending a helping hand. Thank you St. Vincent De Paul of Immaculate Conception for your donation.
