Vinina was born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana on March 6, 1970. She passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the age of 56. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul A. Delaune, Sr. She was the mother of Mary Rose Gomez (Selden) and Paul A. Delaune, Jr. (Tiffany). Grandmother of Selden, Shayelynn, Guiliano, Alexzina, Iyla, and the late Serena. Daughter of Vinina Hunt and William O. Pounds. Sister of William J. Pounds (Leanne) and Katrina Grimes. Vinina is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Though her time with us was short, she will be missed very much.

A Memorial Service is being held in Vinina's honor at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 12:00PM until 4:00PM.
