Vorace A. Dominick of Westwego, LA passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 6:25 PM at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Hazel Foret Dominick. Son of the late Melanie Guillot Dominick and Tony Dominick. Father of Vorace Dominique (Helen), Sandra Duplesis (Ronald), Charles Abrams, (Stella), and the late Marion Abrams. Brother of Lucy Gautreaux, Esther Blanchard, and the late Ernest Dominick, and Ruby Martin. Pawpaw of 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A native of Raceland, LA and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. He was an Army veteran of World War II in the US Army Air Force. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Celotex Corp. and Marrero VFW Post 7307 are invited to attend the funeral service.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 8:00 AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Cemetery. The family would invite everyone to honor him by wearing their LSU colors. Express condolences at

Goodbye Uncle Vorace, I will miss you, as we all will. One of the few men I've known in my life that no one had anything bad to say about. Hopefully the cigars are good there.
