Walter Eugene Gordon, Jr. was born on December 26th, 1961 and passed away on January, 27th 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lenora Gordon. He leaves behind his loving children Melissa Hicks and her husband Daniel Hicks, Andrew Gordon (Arkansas), Brittney Baisden (Texas), and Jessica Smelley (Texas). Melissa Hick’s four children: Kristi Kipp and her son Damion, Kadie Gordon, Misti Gordon, and Brandon Gordon.
Walter leaves behind his seven beloved siblings: Thelma Chaisson, Weldon Gordon, Nora Gordon, Lynn Gordon, Lea Gordon Barras, Linda Gordon Billiot, and Wally Gordon.
Walter was a talented Diesel Mechanic and Tradesman who loved to fish and was an avid Saints fan.
Walter will be waked at Westside Funeral Home at 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, LA 70072. The services will be from 11am to 2pm. All friends and family are welcomed to celebrate his life. Walter will be laid to rest at Westlawn Cemetary following his service.
