William Everett Palmer passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 45 years. Preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Douglas Palmer. He is sadly missed by his mother, Susan Bonnie Palmer, sister, Leona “Dodie” Geedy and brother-in-law Henry Geedy, as well as nieces and nephews Sara, Henry, Madison, and Zachary and his girlfriend, Kitty. Captain Will was a tug boat captain on the Mississippi River for many years, who had a master’s license in the Merchant Marine. He last captained the Bayou Lady. He loved his job, the water, and the company of family and good friends. The family would like to thank everyone who assisted in their time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Community Bible church would be appreciated. Beloved by all, Will will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Community Bible Church, 2502 8th St, Harvey, at 10:00 AM. A memorial gathering will be held at the church after the service. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
