Betsy, Diana, Lizzie, and Debbie and Paul, I just discovered that Bill died on October 13th of this year. Had I known, I would have certainly been there to support you all. I just cannot believe it!! Mother just saw he and Beth the other day and told me she did not recognize him. She is getting so forgetful but she remembered to tell me. Looking at his picture, I am reminded so much of your Dad. He looks just like him. I have fond memories of him and your whole family. It is devastating to lose a sibling so young. I know words are not enough to express your deep grief. I do, however, express my deep sorrow for you and your family in this time of need. Time will heal and you have wonderful memories of Bill. He was brilliant, but never flaunted it to anyone. That was his strength...humble, funny, and kind. We love you so and hope you know our prayers are with you and the Miller families. Call Josie if you need to contact anyone. We are here for you. God Bless and Keep you, Love,

Mary Hope and Josie Lyles and family

To Both the Wilcox & Miller families,

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with both families at this time. Bill was always happy and carried that ear to ear smile wherever he went. An outstanding all-around athlete but an even better human being. He will truly be missed!
