Dad loved cats, cameras, science, and learning languages. He loved the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola. He doted on his grandchildren, even when they were teenagers. He forgave us when we made mistakes and gave us wise counsel when we were discouraged. He was always happy to hear from us, no matter what we might be interrupting. He played the violin, piano, guitar, and harmonica competently and with gusto. He had a nice singing voice and always admired our efforts at musical performance. He loved our Mom dearly and showed it in a million ways. We were so fortunate to have him up through his 89th birthday and his passing now leaves a void we can never fill. We will hold him in our hearts since we can no longer hold him in our arms. We will never forget all that he gave us and how much he loved us. He was a wonderful man.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also." John 14:1-3
God's promise and our certain hope, and our strength. Love you all.
