Agnes W Silvey

Mrs. Silvey attended Business College and worked in Civil Service for the Civilian Personnel Officer at Fort Gordon. After retirement, Mrs. Silvey worked with her husband, who was an attorney in Augusta for many years. She attended and was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Silvey is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Forrest W. Silvey; parents, James and Agnes Wimburn; brothers, Robert Harris Wimburn and James Burke Wimburn; and sisters, Jean Watton and Elinor Powell. Survivors include her children, Sonja S. Landrum, Wanda S. Harrington (Kirk) and Cyndi S. Taylor (Randy); grandchildren, Amber Harrington-Carraway (Dennis—Preceded), Brandt White, Lawson Drew Landrum (Sarah), Brittany Harrington (Will Rosabal), Stevie White, and Richard Cayd Harrington (Whitney Walker); and great-grandchildren, Summit Anderson Landrum and Forrest Knox Landrum.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Nevard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Pallbearers who will honor Mrs. Silvey are Stan Powell, Mike Wimburn, Burke Wimburn, Bill White, Randy Taylor and Brandt White.
