Albert Richard Riley Jr.

Richard worked as a Fire Fighter for many years. He then retired from East Central Regional from the maintenance department.

Richard was known as a fun loving soul. He enjoyed making people laugh. In his spare time you could find him watching his favorite country western movie or attending a car show. He loved to watch his granddaughter play softball. He was a member of Eagle Lodge No 1197 were he had the pleasure of serving as the past State President.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Flora Riley; his wife Eva “Susie" Riley.

He is survived by his loving sons Ricky Riley; Lynn Newman (Tiffany); Sister Sandra Riley; grandchildren Sara Riley; Tanner and Lauren Newman; 8 nieces and 8 nephews and a host of friends and family whom he loved dearly.

A visitation for Richard will be on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 6 until 8 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA. Funeral services to celebrate Richards’s life will be held at 11am, Friday, September 15, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
