Barbara DeVore

Mrs. DeVore was born to the late Mildred Estes in Wahalla, South Carolina. She made Augusta, GA her home for most of her life. Mrs. DeVore owned an in home day care in Martinez, GA for more than 40 years. She was a lifelong member of West Acres Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved playing Yahtzee with her best friends, Jackie and Dana and going to Beach with her family.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. DeVore is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Sherman DeVore; son, John Scott DeVore; and grandson, Brock Sherman DeVore. Survivors include her children, Guy DeVore (Karen), Josh DeVore (Andrea) and Kelli Jody DeVore (Stacy); and grandchildren, Garrett, Bentley, Cody and Beau DeVore.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, July 15th, from 11-12pm at West Acres Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 12pm at West Acres Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road, Evans, GA 30809.
