

Carmen was born on October 28, 1942 in Rural Valley, PA, to the late Joseph Anthony Devivo and Lucy Matts Devivo.
Carmen was a loving husband, father, son, brother, AND Pa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He proudly served in the Army, served three campaigns in Vietnam was awarded 2 bronze stars. After retiring from the military, he worked for the Civil Service at Fort Gordon. He spent 58 years doing what he loved. He retired from the Civil Service in 2018. He then loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and watching football. Butch loved and treasured his family in Pa., He loved his sisters surprise visits to Augusta. To know him was to love him. He loved telling stories about his time in the Army and the people he met along the way. He will be missed by many. You have served your country and your family well.
Carmen was preceded in death by his loving parents Joseph and Lucy Devivo.
Carmen is survived by his wife Fu Devivo; his sons Joseph Devivo (Rita); Steven Devivo; and Michael Devivo (Charity);grandchildren Lauren Pruitt, Tiffani Devivo, Devin Devivo, Michael Devivo, Blake Devivo and Angelina Devivo; great grandchildren Drayton Devivo, Hayes Pruitt, Henry Pruitt, Remi Devivo, Brantsyn Devivo, and Mya Devivo;sisters Patty Burke (Rod) and Diane Nelson (Larry); brother Joseph Anthony Devivo (Darlene) and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A visitation for Carmen will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Followed by Full Military Honors and Interment.
