Charles Jones

Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Onabell Jones, and his parents, Edward and Frances Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Banks (Scott); his son, Charles Jones; his grandchildren, Thomas Banks and Amber Banks; and his sister, Hannah Johnson.

Those closest to Charles knew a man marked by generosity—steady in his care for others, and quiet in the ways he showed up when it mattered. He also carried an adventurous spirit that found simple, honest expression in the life he enjoyed, whether tending to his chickens or spending time fishing. In these everyday pursuits, he found both purpose and peace, and he shared them in ways that will be remembered. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend whom will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6 pm until 8 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 4255 Columbia Road Martinez, GA 30907.
