Dennis Walter Brown

He was born on October 3, 1955 in Wareham, MA, and grew up in Worcester, MA along with his seven siblings, Kathleen, Patricia, Cheryl, Janice, Michael, Walter, and Christine. Dennis served in the United States Navy for over 20 years, mostly from Virginia Beach, VA where he and his wife raised their 3 children. He proudly represented the Seabees throughout his enlistment. Upon retiring from the Navy, Dennis also worked as Program Manager for Seminole County in Sanford, FL for many years and retired in 2017 where he then moved with his wife to Evans, GA to be a full time grandfather.

Dennis had a passion for flying RC airplanes and was actively involved in the CSRA RC Flying Club. If he wasn’t flying airplanes, he was doing what he loved, helping others with his talent of being a handyman that could fix and build anything.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Brown Jr. and Mary A. Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Masako Brown; children, Linda DeLeon (Anthony), Barry D. Brown (Stacey), and Julie Epstein (Aaron); six grandchildren, Caleb, Tory, A.J., Preston, Brianna, and Jordan; along with a host of family that will greatly miss him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road, on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 12pm prior to the service.
