Mr. Ragan was born to the late John and Joan Ragan in St. Louis, Missouri. Don was a loving soul who made an impact on everyone he met. He was incredibly intelligent and had a great sense of humor which always brought smiles to the people around him. Don was also caring and took joy from helping others. He would gladly give the shirt off his back to help a friend or a perfect stranger. Heaven has a new angel.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ragan is preceded in death by his siblings, Roxanne Bunt and John Ragan. Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Sherryann Ragan; daughter, Brandy Ragan Elias (Steven); brother, Sean Ragan; grandchildren, Ariel, Trystin, Zoey and Lorenzo; numerous nieces and nephews; and his four-legged companions, Spartacus and Bowie.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
