Mr. Earl T. Wilcox, 79, of Martinez, Georgia passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was a well-respected gentleman who will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Mr. Wilcox retired as a Chief Warrant Officer W4 with over 30 years of service in the United States Army after numerous tours including Vietnam and Korea. Earl enjoyed camping and found great satisfaction with a delicious bowl of ice cream!
Mr. Wilcox is survived by his loving wife, Kemmie Mixon Wilcox; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Barry and Nina Wilcox and David Leslie and Donna Wilcox; two granddaughters, Kim and Kellie Wilcox; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
