Carolyn and family, it was a sad day when I learned of Gene's passing. I guess God thought it was time Gene joined His Band of Angels' Choir. He sure will be missed.

What a wonderful man! Mr. Meads hired me more than 30 years ago in the Tax Assessors office. He taught me so much. Those of us that are still here still talk about him and his amazing ability. We were so far advanced over some Counties, that they came to "tour" our office. He always praised us, and absolutely beamed with enthusiasm over the Tax Assessors Office.
I will never forget you Mr. Meads!
