George worked in support services for over 25 years for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac). After retirement, he enjoyed meeting and serving people at his local Home Depot.
George was a prolific cook, avid photographer, and loved to listen to all kinds of music. He was passionate about driving cars and especially enjoyed traveling to mountains and beaches. He was a huge Apple fan (way before most people knew how cool Apple was) and liked watching movies on the big screen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Copley. He is survived by his son Sean (Jennifer) Copley and grandchildren, Aaron, Caleb and Leah as well as numerous cousins. George was also survived by many friends and coworkers that he considered family.
Since so many of his friends and family are spread out along the East coast, in lieu of a service, the family is asking friends and family to celebrate George in a way that remembers him and share that with them.
